Verona Orange is my special piece. I hold this one dearly in my heart for many reasons. Firstly, the colors are conspicuous to the eye, instantly drawing the viewer in. Also, the story of how this was taken is unique to me. I was in Italy for the first time. I traveled to Milan alone and stayed for three months. I was ready to leave Milan and see more of the country, but I had no one to go with. I built up the courage to leave the city on my lonesome. Verona was my destination. Of all the things in the infamous town of “Romeo and Juliet,” this building was the thing that caught my eye. Each window has its own story and has seen different things.
